Cornerstone for Concrete Roses meets young adults that possess the drive to strive for more with the tools and resources they need through targeted programs.

Scholarship Program

Financial barriers should never be the reason a student's potential goes unrealized. The Cornerstone for Concrete Roses Scholarship Program provides direct financial support to High School Seniors and College Students who are working hard, dreaming big, and facing real obstacles to continuing their education.

For the first phase, our scholarships are designed to recognize college-bound, high-school students that have demonstrated the miracle values throughout their academic career, including morality, resilience, and compassion. We believe in investing in these students as they transition into their post-secondary education with the high hopes that they are able to successfully complete their desired degree programs.

High School Seniors College Students Merit-Based Need-Based

Who Is Eligible

High School Seniors preparing for post-secondary education, and current College Students enrolled in accredited institutions who demonstrate financial need and a desire to continue their education. Please see our Open Scholarships for more details.

What We Consider

Academic achievement, community involvement, demonstrated resilience, financial need, and alignment with our MIRACLE values. We look at the full picture of a student's story.

How to Apply

Applications open annually. Students submit the scholarship application, short essay responses, academic records, and a letter of recommendation. Contact us to be notified when the next application cycle opens.

How to Fund

Donors and organizations can contribute directly to the scholarship fund. Contact us for further guidance on how to support.

Mentorship Program

Outside of financial investment, our organization also believes that people in all stages benefits from geninue mentorship. Our Cultivating Concrete Roses Mentorship Program serves as our source for all direct mentorship efforts with scholarship recipients and engaged participants.

Cultivating Concrete Roses aims to provide access to mentors that cover various facets of life, such as financial literacy, time management, emotional intelligence, and leadership, alongside the personal encouragement that every young adult needs to help cultivate their own potential.

Mentors commit to regular sessions over a defined period, with flexibility built in. Our team supports every mentoring relationship to ensure it thrives.

Academic & Career Guidance

Higher education, whether a trade program, associate's degree, specialized educational program, or a traditional bachelor's degree, is a beneficial next-step for any young adult seeking to improve their quality of life. We fully support any one pursuing to solidify the foundation of his or her life by advancing their career through our Academic & Career Guidance Program.

Cornerstone for Concrete Roses assists by talking through your career goals, creating a plan with actionable steps to achieve it, résumé creation & reformatting, interview preparation, job search, and college selection guidance, and scholarship application advice.

College Preparation

College application assistance, financial aid guidance, college selection strategy, and scholarship search assistance for students entering post-secondary education.

Career Pathway Planning

Interest and strengths assessments, industry exploration, career planning, and internship and job placement support.

Job Readiness

Resume writing services, mock interviews, job search assistance, and workplace expectations guidance.

Academic Support

College project assignment assistance, study skills coaching, and academic progress monitoring for students who need additional support to stay on track.

Life Essentials & Resources

Academic success and personal success are inseparable. A young adult who is struggling with proper access to life essentials cannot simply set those realities aside and perform at their fullest. Cornerstone for Concrete Roses takes a strong stance on supporting these individuals to help them to overcome this adversity.

We provide assistance to help address non-academic issues, such as transporation assistance on a temporary basis, to help alleviate direct barriers to pursuing new opportunities. During this phase of the organization, these requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by contacting the organization directly. We plan to create specialized programs for transportation and housing assistance, as those stand to be the primary barriers against upward mobility.
